About SRI
The Swan Research Institute (SRI) was formed in 2001 as an independent, incorporated Association to conduct and promote quality research in the areas of human Health and Well-Being.
As SRI is a registered "Non Profit" organisation with "Charitable Gift Recipient" status with the Australian Tax Office, we accept tax deductible donations to the SRI "Research & Education" fund.
SRI is currently focusing on developing better understanding of the many practices within the science of yoga and their implications for physical and mental health, healthy lifestyle, mental and spiritual development, particularly in prevention of many modern diseases. SRI is also interested in researching possible treatments in promising areas such as asthma, diabetes, cancer, depression and other mental illnesses, anxiety, drug addiction, hypertension, high or low blood pressure and cardiac disease, to name a few.
